Very nice win, Arturs!
ty very much for this video, when the pgn for beating alapin players..? ty
Everything after reaching Philidor's position is easy but I don't see how anything is "easy" before that. General recommendations in this video are good but it just flies through the moves without much thought.
I like how rich these positions coming from the Dutch can be! Thanks for the video! While it has become my go-to weapon with Black, I can't seem to get the same type of dynamic chess when playing 1.f4 with white though :')
What you did was excellent sir, bec most experienced players will expect you to play sharp lines with e4 instead of solid-positional moves. I see Magnus doing it many times in his games with my very basic understanding. He would do e4 on ocassion, then close the game & outmaneuver his opponents, squeezing them into the end game.
great video, thanks, best of all reti vids on yt imho
Fantastic game and well-explained
I can't believe I stumbled upon this awful UA-cam channel. Now, all the other chess channels seem so dull in comparison, and I find myself impatiently counting down the minutes until the next video arrives 😢
great game
I really like the idea of Dutch. What's the minimum rating you recommend someone to have before learning it?
@@alexkay77 it's tough to say - at lower levels White might be also unaware of the most poisonous ideas. If you study it well, I suppose - at any level.
it would be interesting to show a game of yours against a super GM where you lost or he outplayed you somehow, because for us mortals we can't tell the difference between a game by you or by a 200+ elo higher player.
very instructive g6 dutch game, esp the endgame! From my practice the safer Qd3 is often played by players who are unsure if b3 is possible or they forget the theory
where has dr Dutch gone?
@@seven.0158 on a small vacation - probably I should make a few more episodes
@@GMNeiksans yessssss. (pls)
Absolutely love the course, it fits so well eith my Taimonov/English repertoire. Was really happy to see you had a Dutch speedrun too, hope to see many more!
Great video and I have enjoyed your course! When will your next Chessable course be ready?
Thanks! Late Spring, I suppose - I'm waiting for Chessable to give green light to record videos for my Scandi course.
I love your vedios Would you make a short ans sweet version of the dutch course on chessable?
That's not the plan - usually it depends on Chessable's policy. I think S&S is usually for LTRs.
you should probably check out his old bootcamp on the dutch defence. It’s like a 3 hour livestream, should be more than enough
@user-rb1qq7hn8p I watched it It was great Really helpful but i was hoping for more content about the leningrad specifecly
who makes these titles? so funny😆
Me, lol
I really like this type of video's. You do a terrific job.
Please make a video boot camp of 1.b3 nimzo larsen attack
👌
If it’s only effective if your opponent plays in a certain way then it’s pointless I tried this opening many years ago and then gave up .
I think there should always be a human psychology angle to deciding to play a positional battle, not just for the opponent, but also yourself. Karpov would choose the steady, ruthless logic 10 out of 10 times. I probably would not.
the algorithms are hiding your videos
I have never encountered queen vs. rook endgame in an actual game but I tried it against the engine and failed miserably. 😅 I hope now I'll be able to win it thanks to your video. 😎
Who is the target audience for these Bootcamps? I just discovered them, they seem great, but my rating might not be high enough yet? I'm 1730 classical on Lichess.
@@SleepyOldOwl mostly for advanced players but I try to explain things as simple as possible
@@GMNeiksans Ok, tx for answering! I'll give them a try.
After the opening choice from black I would go of the board to smoke a cigarette and think how not to end in a symetrical position maybe play with b3 Bb2 giving him the Center. I dont like these boring middlegames but when it comes to endgames I often analyse symetrical positions that rarely happen for example in the Benoni where you Exchange the B for the E pawn with bxc4 included I really like fighting in these positions after a complecated middlegame when my Opponent is exhausted Anyway great game I will defently analyse the bd3 line in the petroff and learned a lot from this Game thanks a lot and keep up the good work 🦾❤
Great game Arturs, what are your thoughts on the Nimzowitsch Attack against the Petroff?
Thanks! What are the moves? I don't recognize the variation name

Thank you for your amazing and informative videos! It's a bit sad that I only discovered your content after you became Levy's coach because your content is like a gold mine, I hope to see more of your content in the future. In the meantime, I will work towards my goal for this year: finishing your bootcamp playlist. I believe completing it could help me finally reach 2000 FIDE by the end of the year, thank you again for all of the high-quality content you provide
Thank you and best of luck!
I love that you play the Bird too in this speedrun!
Is there a Philidor position for losing all your games. It's one aspect of chess I think I have truly mastered. 😅
Mr neiksan will you do a bootcamp on the pirc one day?
@@pommedemer1922 maybe
Awesome content! Thank you!
Arturs, i love your genuineness about making such a complicated video. just make sure to present it a bit better (interruptions, chessboard not fitting on screen min 54:10, and some of the sequiences got confusing due to mixing up the order of moves).
Thank You Sir❤
You are such an amazing chess coach‼ I could not appreciate your channel more. Thank you for always sharing your games start to finish, it was always how chess was meant to be shown & understood.
shows what a patzer Ding Liren is 😂 for not making an easy draw with black with Be6. Just kidding
3:15 What if White plays b4?
@@zhepebrilo2000 Qa3
@@GMNeiksans 👍
4:20 nf6 isn't playable in that position due to ng5 :)
Thanks for the video Arturs. I switched back to Italian following the 2024 Olymipiad where after looking at a bunch of games from some of my favorite US players (who frequently played Italian) i thought "i am spending all my time looking at these games, why am i not playing this?" 😂 Anyway, Ive watched this video through a few times and i just wanted to say i love your memorable explanations and the way you cover the point behind every move. Makes it really easy to play the moves automatically. Cheers and love the bootcamp series.
These long videos are always a treat!
Thanks!
What's funny is that today I got to play two random blitz games on Lichess and I got paired against... Kazakouski, lol. Guess what we played in two games :) lichess.org/@/arturchix
really good analysis, thank you
Simply amazing!!!!!
What a rich, complex game. fantastic as always Arturs!
I run into this a lot from a Goring Gambit move order.
As someone who used to play on a team I am impressed that you can get some many people to show up on a regular basis.
the devil is in the details!
Stockfish told us the best moves like we are 3600
Crazy how the Italian opening could transpose into philidor, sicilian or kings indian structure 🤯
